I have been trying for the past month to get NTmail working with Emerald.
The documents for the EmerAuth.dll (3) are a bit lame on this.
I am using NTMail version 5.00.0010 with the EmerAuth.dll (2,7,16,0)
When I enter NTmail administration the page sometimes "locks up".
The authentication log has tons of "Thread attach" and "GetMailBoxName
InBox.mbx" entries in it.
It also has a few entries like this:
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 EmerSupp::ReOpen -----------------------------------
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 EmerSupp::ReOpen Entering function
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 EmerSupp::ReOpen Registry ODBCDataSource read
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 EmerSupp::ReOpen Registry UserName read
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 EmerSupp::ReOpen Initalizing Database Connections
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 EmerSupp::ReOpen "MyCompanyName. (removed)"
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 EmerSupp::ReOpen "MyRegInfo (removed)"
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 EmerSupp Open Successfull open of DLL
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 DllMain New process attach
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 GetConfig Select Type, Value, Data From Configs
Where ConfigID = 61
Jan 18 06:48:39 2000 DllMain Thread attach
While attempting to verify a user in the Emerald Database this is what I
get:
Jan 18 07:13:58 2000 VerifyUser VerifyMailUser 'test', 'mbeach.net', 0
Jan 18 07:13:58 2000 aVerifyUser Result: 2
"test" is a valid user in the database.
The DLL is copied into the Gordano directory and referenced there by the
registry key entry.
Is there something that I am missing?
Thanks
