DOH!
I have since learned how to drop devices and created the new "Emerald"
database,
and successfully imported the data into it.
Guess what. I can now see the reports everyone has been referring to.
I guess I am simply noting this for any other newbie that happens to
think the
"Emerald" name for the database may not necessarily have to be Emerald!
Also, My first install failure was caused by setting up SQL with program
files
on one drive and data files on another. When Emerald first popped up to
create the DB I simply went with the defaults, which of course ended in
an error,
due to the fact that it attempted to create the DB on the disk where the
program
files reside and not the data drive.
