Since I have had to help two people out of issues like this
last week I would like to STRESS proper maintenance and
backup of your SQL Server. If you are not dumping your
database on a regular basis AND backing it up (you can NOT
backup your database while SQL is running w/out doing a
dump first) then you are really asking for trouble.
Please do NOT avoid this. Not having backup/recovery plans
for your systems is like playing with fire. If you don't
have one, there is a far higher chance (is this Murphy?)
that you'll have problems.
