The documentation to upgrade a 2.xx database to 2.5 is included with the
2.5RCx package....

You HAVE TO upgrade a 2.xx database... not matter what you do about
servers....

Just create devices on the new server, do a transfer from the old to the new
and do an upgrade... and that is all documented in the 2.5RCxx package...
