[Emerald] setting up replication and also SQL Server 7.0

I was wondering if anyone have proper scripts to do replication on another
server. I would like to set up a backup server so when one goes down or is
busy, it will replicate on the other server.

Also Is it really worth it to upgrade to SQL Server 7.0?
