SQL 7 is what I do my primary development on now, and we have several
customers using Emerald 2.5.227 and higher with it. I would need more
specific details of the problems that you are running into.
You should be able to run the Emerlad 2.5 Upgrade on your SQL 6.5
server,
then use the SQL 7.0 Database upgrade wizard to upgrade the database
from your 6.5 server to your 7.0 server.

Do you have any Service Packs on your SQL Server? You should be able to
do small deletes w/out a problem.

I'd need to look at your users files. There is also a command based
program calls RadUsers that can create the users files much faster and
can be batched.

If you ignore the warning, it will run fine. That problem was fixed
in RadiusNT 2.5 (which I highly recommand you upgrade to).

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Why doesn't the text only
version not load? Could you have a problem between your Emerald
dictionary and your RadiusNT dictionary that is causing an
unknown attribute? If RadiusNT is not loading the users file,
what user does it error on? What does that user's entry look like?
