Dale,

There is one thing I am not very clear of, which part of the system create
the user directory. Is it Emerald Client or Emer_su.dll?

I would think it is Emer_su.dll. If this is the case the correct UNC name
should be \\ServerName\Sharename\username , and when user tries to connect
to FTP server, the Emer_su.dll will get the directory from the database as
\\ServerName\Sharename\username , if it does not exist, it will create one,
that means the Server and Emer_su.dll must resolve the UNC to same location,
and the Emerald Client does not need to know where the UNC is. Should we use
NET SHARE command when FTP bootup like:
net share sharename /unlimited
