No, you shouldn't need a new key. Do you see anything coming across the debug screen when you attempt to log in? If not, make sure the Emerald Admin screen has the appropriate IP #s and secrets for your RAS boxes. You can also use the radlogin command in the radius directory to test basic functionality of the Radius package without a RAS attached.
Also make sure your RAS box(es) points to the IP # of the Radius machine. All this shouldn't have changed though just by upgrading. I suspect the RAS IP #s need adding to Radius.
