[Emerald] Emerald billing system ?

We have taken over another ISP who are using Platypus as their billing =
system.

We like the way the emerald interface works and that it uses stored =
procedure for all its functions, but emerald fails something horrid on =
the billing side, so much that it can't even bill the way we want it to =
( Pay per megabyte ).

Platypus has an extremely flexible billing system,=20
you can define block rates of either type hours or megabytes (up and =
down)
as well as a rate builder with up to 15 definable rate levels for one =
rate, again by hours or megabytes (up and down) with rules defined as to =
when to go to the next billing level.

Is Emerald going to implement a similar customable billing system, if so =
when?

We would prefer to stay with Emerald due to the friendly interface, the =
way it uses Master & subaccounts, domains and ftp, but since it does not =
meet our billing requirements we may be forced to change.

Since we purchased Emerald, all that seems to be happening is bugs being =
corrected, and no sign of a new version implementing new features and =
keeping up with competitors.
