[Emerald] Outlook 97 freezes when trying to send mass mail via SQL Query

We are having some problems sending out a large amount of mail using an SQL
script. When we try to send mail out (could be anywhere from 300 to 3300
e-mails) outlook will freeze at different points. It'll send 300 msgs one
time, then freeze at 90 the next. We have Outlook 8.02.4212 running and SQL
Server 7....I noticed a few "Warnings" in the Emerald Mail archives about
Outlook '97, and having to run SR2 on it to get it to work properly. Before
we try that, I'd like to know if anyone else has had that problem, and if
they haven't, are they running Outlook 8 w/ SR2? Thanks.
