[Announce] Year 2000 Considerations.

As the end of the year approaches it is very important for all of us =
to verify the Year 2000 Compliance of our Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 =
Workstations and Servers.

It is very important that you confirm that your Operating Systems handle =
dates beyond 12/31/99 correctly. If they do not, when you run billing, =
and a customer's Billed Through, Paid Through, or Expire Dates fall on a =
date after 12/31/99 the dates will revert to the year 1900.

If you are unsure if your Operating System will handle dates beyond =
12/31/99 correctly, we urge you to modify your regional settings to use =
a 4 digit year (mm/dd/yyyy). Emerald and RadiusNT use the date format =
defined in the Regional Settings of the machine they are running on. If =
the Operating System will not handle dates beyond 12/31/99 then you will =
likely experience authentication problems and an increased Tech Support =
load.

By changing the Regional settings to use a 4 digit year you can avoid =
some of these problems until you can install the appropriate Critical =
Updates/Service Packs from Microsoft.

Please note that this information is in regard to Emerald and RadiusNT =
Versions 2.5 and greater.

Versions of RadiusNT and Emerald prior to version 2.5 may not benefit =
from these changes due to the Service Pack limitations required for =
their operation. If you are still running a version of RadiusNT or =
Emerald prior to version 2.5 please call 831-459-9430 for additional =
information.

I would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone again that =
as of November 1, 1999 we will no longer be supporting versions of =
Emerald or RadiusNT prior to Version 2.5. If you have any questions =
about upgrading your Pre-2.5 Version or RadiusNT or Emerald, please call =
