go to grc.com and use Shields Up test...it will show your external. There
are other tools there too.

I am looking ofr a utility that will identify my external IP # and then
email it to me.. .

The scenario is that I have a cable modem with a dynmic ip.. but need to
know ip so I can get into my network..
